Wow, we can’t believe we are already halfway done with 2023! What a fantastic and exciting year we’ve had, every month filled with new adventures, new memories, and lots of laughs.

We kicked off June with a magical evening spent listening to Russel Crowe and his band. Stephen and Jeremy got to hear all of Russel Crowe’s stories and sing along to his songs.

Arakai and Dean started June with Cash Savage and the Last Drinks! They jammed to their tunes and had a blast of an evening.

Lach and Aiden made their way down to the Gold Coast to catch the Titans go head to head with the Rabbitohs. It was an intense game, with everyone on the edge of their seats, however, it was an unfortunate loss for the Titans…

We got our singing voices out and spent the night singing our hearts out. Songs from Bon Jovi, Miley Cyrus, Imagine Dragons, Celine Dion, and many other artists were sung and even signed!

Aiden and Harry trekked down to CBUS Stadium again to catch Aidens favourite team – Titans, go against the West Tigers!

Andrew and Brodie got out their rainbow hats and spent one of their Saturdays at Moreton Bay Pride Festival! They walked around the festival mingling with drag queens and others in or are allies of the LGBTQ+ community!

Up the mighty Broncos!!! It was an intense match with the Broncos fighting to the finish. Our crew cheered them on hard as they won the match by just 4 points!

After a fabulous game the night before, a group of us made our way to Aussie World to meet some of the players from the Broncos men’s and women’s team! After getting all the photos and signatures, we spent the rest of the day going on rides!

David and Arakai spent one night laughing so hard with Michael McIntyre, they left the building at the end of the night with the biggest smiles on their face a few tears of joy.

A crew made their way to the Gabba to catch the Lions go against the Sydney Swans! It was a great game and the Lions finished the game as champions.

A cheerful Saturday evening was spent as Myles and Tim watched a variety of international comedians make jokes out of their experiences, the audiences, and just life itself. The comedians had everyone in the crowd, including us, cracking up in fits of laughter.

Matthew spent one of his Sunday afternoon checking out all the different cars in Motorfest, from vintage models to modern cars, they had it all. The lucky bugger even bumped into Wally Lewis!

STATE OF ORIGIN GAME 2 !!! We hosted a State of Origin screening at our office and had everyone come together to watch the game! It was a truly memorable game and when Queensland was crowned the winners of State of Origin, our cheers were so loud I’m sure our neighbours heard us!

Giddy Up cowgirls and cowboys! A few of us made our way to Sandstone Point to catch the 8th Annual Rodeo! The day was filled with lots of eating and rodeo shows.

We were in the moooood for some yummy burgers! A few of us spent a Saturday afternoon at The Triffid devouring a variety of delicious burgers and listening to some live tunes to help digest the copious amount of burgers we ate!!

Sunday arvo is for footy ! We spent one sunny Sunday afternoon at Suncorp Stadium to catch the Broncos go against the Titans. It was a nail biting game, but unfortunately the Broncos did not win! That didn’t matter though because we still made our way to the Broncos Leagues Club to give them some love and support!

A group of us decided to spice up the middle of week by heading to QPAC to watch Moulin Rouge! It was an afternoon of glitz and glam, lots of singing and dancing!

Our Access Consultancy team – Arakai and Bryce, spent one morning at Hassel Studio – an architecture firm, chatting to the architects and gave their advice on a “inclusive design strategies” piece which will be used in house at Hassel to educate Architects and Commercial Interior Designers across Australia.

Jeremy and Dane caught the Brisbane Lions in action at the Gabba as they went head to head with Richmond.

A few of us drove up to Kayo Stadium to watch the Wallaroos verse the Black Ferns! It was a game to remember and hade everyone on the edge of their seats, unfortunately, it wasn’t the Wallaroos night but we left the stadium still happy and cheery.

Bad Dreems made their way to Brisbane, so of course, we had to meet them at The Triffid to say hi and catch them on stage!

To cap off the month, we hosted a trivia night at the Let’s Go! Studio. It was an absolute hoot and the questions had everyone scratching their heads… A big thank you to George for hosting our monthly trivia’s, he will be taking a couples months to relax so look forward to our next trivia night in October!
