Another month has flown by, 2023 is going by too quick ! We had a fantastic month filled with a variety of sports games, gigs, and social nights. Read below to find out what we got up to.

Kayden and Annie made their way to HOTA (Home of the Arts) in Gold Coast to catch the Disney 100 show! It was a magical evening celebrating 100 years of Disney and the many stories and songs they have created.

The first game of the month and it was an absolute banger! The crew made their way down to Suncorp Stadium to catch the Broncos go head to head with the West Tigers. It was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday evening.

Hayden, Joel, Arakai, and Matt also made their way down to HOTA (Home of the Arts) to catch the 27 Club’s Gold Coast show. It was a night filled with throwback tunes from musical legends that passed too young! It was a great way to celebrate these musicians and rock out to all their tunes.

Costa and Nus spent their Monday afternoon jamming out to everyones favourite Wiggles songs. From Hot Potato to Fruit Salad and even Get Read To Wiggle. It was an unforgettable afternoon.

We were lucky enough to attend local radio station – 4ZZZ, fundraiser event ‘Access All Areas’. 4ZZZ continues to work towards including more people with a disability at the station, joining the volunteer announcer base and becoming an integral voice of our grassroots media and local music community. All funds raised will go towards building an accessible studio with amenities for all abilities in the area of the 4ZZZ carpark.

Arakai, Matt, and Hayden spent their Easter weekend up at Bluesfest in Byron Bay. Their weekend was filled with lots of music, lots of food, and lots of good times!

Matthew and David headed to Suncorp to catch some Reds verses Brumbies action. It was an unfortunate loss, but the Reds played well and Matthew couldn’t stop cheering on for them.

Arakai and Dean had the time of their lives at the King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard concert!

Another weekend, another Broncos game! This time the Broncos went head to head with the Raiders.

Andrew and Arnijka spent their Thursday night hanging out with Drag Queens and playing bingo!

George – Lead singer in Modeo and Let’s Go! support worker, hosted his very first music workshop at the studio! The workshop covered some music history, as well as some tricks on how to write songs, and tips on how to perform in front of crowd.

A crew of us checked out the Dolphins verse Rabbitohs game! There is no better way to spend a Thursday night than to watch the footy.

George, Arakai, Robbo, and James spent an afternoon at Eatons Hill Hotel to watch the Smashing Pumpkins gig

A crew of us spent our Saturday night at the Titan’s stomping ground (CBUS Stadium) and watched them go head to head with the Broncos! It was a truly intense game that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Some of us spent a cosy Saturday night in Brisbane under the stars watching and singing along to the Lion King.

A Sunday afternoon putt putt session is a great way to wrap up the weekend. A few of us made our way around Victoria Park’s limited time only Candyland Putt Putt course.

We were lucky enough to have an opportunity to have our studio be used to host a Sofar sounds event. It was a lovely evening and we got to see local musicians Angus Kaftan, Hollie Joyyy, and Alys_North_ perform.

What a fantastic night and it was all thanks to you! Thank you for continuing to supporting us and joining us at our events! We hosted our Official Launch Party at the new studio and it was a hit! We had Mondeo set up on our new checkered dance floor and play some songs that we all know and love. After we had Bring a Plate present a flash mob and get the d-floor started. We capped off the night with DJ Belle who got us partying the night away. A big thanks and shout out to Roam’In Pizza for feeding all our hungry bellies throughout the night.

Matthew and Alessia went to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens in concert! It was an out of this universe experience and all the music from the movie was performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

Harry, Maddy, and Aiden headed to Suncorp stadium to watch the Dolphins take on the Titans. It was a jaw dropping game, but at the end of they day the Dolphins were crowned as the winner! GET YOUR PHINS UP!

It was a chilly afternoon spent for Matthew, Johnny, and Robbo as they caught some ice hockey action at IceWorld. They watched as the Brisbane Lightning dominated the Central Coast Rhinos, it was one heck of a game!

Up the mighty Broncos !! Our boys played hard and tried their best to defeat the Rabbitohs, unfortunately, it was a loss for the boys. We wish them the best of luck in the next game.

Surfs Up! We enjoyed another Saturday morning surf session, this time we made our way to Mooloolaba spit. We enjoyed a delicious post-surf fish and chip feed by the beach and finished off the morning with some beach sports games.

Jeremy, Tim, Zaide, and Annie headed to the Gabba to watch the Lions take on the Fremantle Dockers! It was a great win for the Lions and we can’t wait for the next game.

Arakai and Dean made their way to Bribie Island and spent the afternoon at Red Hot Summer Tour! They spent the day listening and jamming to Missy Higgins, Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, and so many more amazing acts.

Matthew and David spent their Saturday evening at Suncorp Stadium to support the Reds !
